2026 Summer NHL Street Hockey

The NHL STREET brings new style, energy, and gameplay to the sport of hockey. We’re creating an affordable, neighborhood-based model that gives kids everywhere an opportunity to learn and play.

The NHL has teamed up with RCX Sports—the leader in youth sports experiences—to bring NHL STREET to life. Designed for kids ages 6 to 14, our youth athletes feel like the pros when they suit up in authentic NHL STREET uniforms to play in high-energy, team-first leagues.

Are you ready for NHL Street Hockey?

This program will consist of a 6-week league held on Wednesdays, and will be a 3 v3 OR 4 vs. 4 with a goalie, recreational, co-ed format. The format will be determined by the number of players in the overall program. We will try to limit teams to 6-8 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first-time players who want to learn the fundamentals of hockey. There are no try-outs! Everyone participates!

Practices/Games will take place between 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Wednesday evenings (subject to change depending on court availability and league size). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks before the season start date. Practices take place before game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Schedule times can vary from week to week. Youngest groups will play first/earlier.

Participants will receive a reversible NHL Street Hockey Jersey, theirs to keep! In addition, to keep costs down, hockey sticks will be provided to use during gameplay.

Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! Each team will have up to 2 coaches assigned. We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. We will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coach meeting to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season!

LOCATION: Hamilton County Sports Complex: The outdoor hockey rink: 9625 E 150th St, Noblesville, IN 46060

Registration will be from May 1st through June 1st, 2026. Late Registration will continue after and be dependent on open spaces left on teams, with possible additional fees.

Season Start Date (Practice/Scrimmage): June 17th, 2026

Season First Game: June 24th, 2026

Season Expected End Date: July 29th, 2026

Blackout Date: July 1st, 2026

Grades: Kindergarten through 8th grade

Ages: 6-14

Registrations will be accepted after the deadline based on roster capacity.

A $2.50 shipping fee will be added to all participants' registrations regardless of household location.

*All transactions are subject to a 3.99% processing fee.

We will host a virtual coach meeting this season. All jerseys and equipment will be delivered to the rinks on the first date of the season.
